“Meditation is the spontaneous result of concentration of the mind.” (P.529 M., Swami. Hatha yoga pradipika. 2012)

Meditation happens when your mind stops jumping around and stays steady on one thing — until there’s only the observer, the thing being observed, and the act of observing itself.

Meditation is not something that can be express or taught, it must be experienced in one’s life. “Meditation is to bring the complex consciousness to simplicity and innocence withour pride or arrogance.”

“To awaken the dormant consciousness is awareness. Your consciousness it is as long as your body is tall. Awareness is small. By practising asanas, you can bring awareness to an extention equal to that of your consciousness. This is total awareness, this is meditation.”

(P. 109 IYENGAR, B. K. Sundara. The tree of yoga. Shambhala Publications, 2025.)
