A mantra is a word, phrase, or sound repeated during meditation or spiritual practice to help focus the mind, cultivate intention, and promote inner calm. Rooted in ancient traditions, mantras are often chanted aloud or silently and serve as powerful tools for mindfulness, concentration, and personal transformation.
In Tarana classes, students are introduced to the practice of mantra chanting during the opening and closing of each session.

For every new beginning—a child, a new business, a new home, or even a new day—the mantra for Lord Ganesha is chanted.
Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, protects humanity, guides us in times of need, and blesses us with his divine light.
As we begin the Tarana Project journey, we offer our chants to Lord Ganesha.
